Brian has 30 years of experience in investment banking & debt and equity capital markets. He holds a BEcon, BEcon Honours, MSc and Executive MBA degrees, and has completed specialised training programs in credit risk evaluation and private equity (Euromoney, Moodys, SAVCA). He is a member of the IOD and past member of the Institute of Bankers. As part of his coverage responsibilities, he was an advisor to key SA and international corporates, and has held leadership positions at executive and board level.
He chaired a JSE listed company (Insimbi Ltd), a Public Sector Debt Fund (KZN Growth Fund), and was an executive director of Deutsche Bank AG Johannesburg Branch. He has experience in business rescue, corporate restructuring & change management, and has led diversity and transformation programs in large organizations. He has managed large cross-functional teams, comprising direct reports and matrix reporting across business divisions. He is committed to good corporate governance and business performance.
